The Pocophone F1 packs in the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 with 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 64, 128 or 256 GB of internal storage. The 4000 mAh battery is responsible to supply power which ensures great battery life. In first of its kind at this price segment, the Pocophone F1 also houses a liquid cooling system that will help to keep the phone cool during intensive tasks. It also features an infrared camera on the front to support 3D face unlocking mechanism which is similar to what is present on the iPhone X and the Oppo Find X which costs a lot more.
Not only does it pack in powerful hardware, it also packs in quality software which is a slightly modified version of the MIUI. The Pocophone F1 runs its own Poco launcher which is based on MIUI 9.6 on top of Android Oreo 8.1. The Poco Launcher brings in some interesting changes to the MIUI as we see an app drawer for the first time on any phone running the MIUI. The launcher keeps all the basic customisability and features of the MIUI 9.6 while adding some more of its own like color based app sorting, automatic grouping and hiding of app. It also categorizes apps based on their functions and features, rather than relying on folders for this.
